A fishing line made of a plastic so dense the blade slides off without cutting it, and it feels as cool as silk.

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers that hold stainless-steel microfilaments in the core of the yarn. Cool to the touch and low lint. TenActiv Max™ adds thick nitrile foam whose micropores disperse oils to keep the grip.
